Duration: 1 day at your premises
Course
The Manual Handling: train the trainer course includes theory and practice so that delegates have underlying knowledge as well as practical skills. We will tailor the course to your company based on our discussions with you. This is best done on a visit to your site before the course. There is no additional charge for this service.
The course will include:
- Definitions of manual handling
- Risks and injuries from manual handling tasks
- Identifying and assessing risk
- Assessments tools
- Cost effective solutions for reducing risk
- The worker training package
- Preparing and delivering training
Documentation and resources
Attendees are issued with a certificate and course notes. Each attendee receives a powerpoint presentation and printable course notes on a DVD for use in worker training sessions.
