Who should attend?
The COSHH Regulations say you must provide information, training and instruction for employees who work with substances hazardous to health.
You should train any staff who work with hazardous substances an who are covered by your COSHH assessment. Include cleaning and maintenance staff. In some circumstances you may also want to include contractors’ employees.
What does the training cover?
Employees need to understand the outcome of your risk assessment, what this means for them and what they have to do. The training is tailored to your requirements and typically covers:
- what the hazards and risks are
- about any workplace exposure limit
- how to use control measures properly
- their own responsibilities
- what to do if there is an accident (eg spillage) or emergency
Courses last approximately 3 hours, depending on your requirements. Prices from as little as £16 per person, depending on numbers.
Prices
One half day course at your premises for up to 15 persons £380 + VAT
Two half days courses held on the same day at your premises, for up to 30 persons in total £480 + VAT
