One and two day courses.

Who are the courses for?

The COSHH Assessment courses are for anyone responsible for substances hazardous to health under the COSHH Regulations.

1-day course:  For those responsible for completing COSHH assessments or those responsible for COSHH assessment and control in low-risk processes.

2-day course:  For those responsible for COSHH assessment and control in higher risk processes where LEV and RPE, for example, may be required.

Our training courses start with basic information and build comprehensive knowledge, so they will suit you whether you are new to COSHH or are wanting to update your existing knowledge.  Not sure which course is right for you?

Which course is right for me?

To properly fulfill the legal requirement for COSHH “assessment” companies have to assess the risks to health and introduce the required control measures.

For businesses where risks are lower, such as cleaners, garages, storage, food preparation, offices and schools, or where the low-hazard substances are used, our 1-day course is suitable.

Where significant quantities of higher risk substances are used, and especially where these may be released into the air or contaminate skin frequently, then our 2-day course is suitable.  This longer course goes on to cover the more technical control measures, such as process change, LEV and RPE, that may be required.Still in doubt? – please contact us to discuss your needs.
